Convert WMS Map
Web Map Service
A protocol for delivering geospatial data as map images over the Internet. It has the following features:
- OGC Standard: The protocol was developed by the OGC (Open Geospatial Consortium), an international organization that promotes interoperability among geospatial technologies. WMS is one of the OGC standards that define how to request and exchange geospatial data over the Internet.
- Map Images: The data that are transferred by WMS are georeferenced map images, which are raster images that show the spatial features and attributes of a geographic area. These images are generated by a map server, such as MapGuide or MapServer, using data stored in a GIS (Geographic Information System) database. The map images can be customized by specifying parameters such as the spatial extent, the coordinate system, the image format, the layer selection, the style, etc.
WMS to CAD Converter: Automapki Application is an add-on for AutoCAD, BricsCAD, and ZWCAD, which supports WMS data. It allows you to import WMS images into your DWG drawings. You can seamlessly combine multiple WMS layers from different sources and insert them into a georeferenced DWG drawing. This enables you to integrate geospatial data with your CAD designs and visualize them in a map context.
