Autoshaper converts mesh to nurbs and allows to import / export 3D solid modelling file formats with smooth NURBS (Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines) shapes as a native Windows software. It supports many of 3D file extensions including 3DM (Rhinoceros 3D Model), STEP (STandardized Exchange of Product), IGES (Initial Graphics Exchange Specification), BREP (Boundary Representation), and IFC (The Industry Foundation Classes). It supports also importing meshes from popular mesh formats such as SKP (Trimble SketchUp), OBJ (Alias Wavefront Object), OFF (Object File Format), STL (STereo-Lithography), 3DS (3D-Studio File Format), PLY (Stanford Polygon Format), DAE (Collada), and VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language), as well as point cloud data from XYZ and ASC files, enabling detailed NURBS surfaces reconstruction.
- Point cloud to nurbs surface reconstruction from ASC, XYZ point cloud files.
- Mesh to nurbs surface reconstruction from STL, OBJ, SKP, OFF, 3DS, PLY, DAE and VRML files.
- Import STEP, IGES, BREP, 3DM and IFC file formats with Nurbs shapes.
- Export STEP, IGES, BREP, IFC and 3DM solid modeling files.
- Support for metric & imperial units in STEP and IGES solid files.
- Editable color, transparency & name for single shape components.
- Calculate mass, centroid, moments of inertia, radius of gyration and principal moments.
- Command line conversion for 3D file formats.
- Microsoft Windows operating system with minimum 2GB RAM.
- 6GB RAM recommended for point cloud or mesh to nurbs surface conversion.
- 64 bits platform for large files with thousands of shapes recommended.
- Allows to test during a fixed period of 2 days.
- Allows for maximum 10 conversions and saves only.
- Fully functional with mesh to nurbs function like the registered version.
- Intended for evaluation purposes only.
